Grant Description

Supporting Accelerated Investment in Sri Lanka (SAIL) Project will Support economic reforms in Sri Lanka by providing assistance to improve business enabling environment and specifically to improve the environment that affects Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). SAIL technical assistance includes expert advice on policy reform and a strategy for attracting and retaining FDI.

SAIL also provides analysis and recommendations to improve institutions, laws and the regulatory environment as these are related to attracting and retaining FDI in Sri Lanka.

Expected outcomes include an improved business enabling environment for FDI and a more inclusive economic opportunities and growth.
