Grant Description

The primary purpose of Protect Wildlife is to help conserve biodiversity in priority sites in the Philippines.

Conservation interventions will focus on the following: 1) capacity building and technical assistance at the national and subnational levels; 2) conservation financing from public and private sources; 3) behavior change; 4) science, technology, innovation and partnerships; and 5) environmental law enforcement.

The activity will focus on priority conservation areas and endangered, threatened, near-threatened or vulnerable species and their habitats throughout the Philippines.
