PREP and incremental funding for Development Food Assistance Program (DFAP) in DRC, Budikadidi

FFP is funding a USAID Implementing Partner to implement the Budikadidi Development Food Security Activity, which seeks to improve the food security, nutritional status, and socio-economic wellbeing of vulnerable households and communities in Kasai Oriental Province.

As part of Budikadidi, the Implementing Partner implements a number of complementary interventions across five sectorsagriculture; health and nutrition; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); gender; and governancetargeting 580,947 beneficiaries.

With FFP support, the Implementing Partner helps to build local capacity, strengthen service-delivery systems, increase accountability, and reduce structural, cultural, and gender-based barriers to sustainable change.
