Grant Description

The purpose of Media Environment Strengthening and Monitoring (MESM) program is to contribute to development of free and independent media capable of reporting on issues of public interest and acting as an agent of accountability.

Interventions will support civil society's access to relevant information to improve engagement and promote government accountability.

MESM will monitor and provide policy recommendations for improved functioning of the Georgian National Communications Commission and the Georgian Public Broadcaster.
