With FY 15 funding, this project will contribute to the reduction of mortality and morbidity of the most vulnerable children and women by strengthening programmatic instruments related to water, sanitation and hygiene and by raising awareness on key basic hygiene practices.
The project has two main objectives:Objective 1: The Water, Sanitation and Hygiene sector has reinforced capacities to increase the rates of access to potable water, sanitation andhygiene of rural and suburban populationsObjective 2: At least 25,600 poor and vulnerable people in rural areas adopt enhanced hygiene practices
