This award will support the government's short-term plan to increase equitable access to quality primary education for girls and boys, and expand opportunities for children and youth to participate in relevant life skills programs in the target regions: Gao, Menaka, Timbuktu, Kidal, Taoudeni, Mopti, and Segou.
EESA aims to achieve a measurable increase of equitable access to basic education for returned and resident learners who have been affected by the crisis and conflict in target areas.
The expected results are: (i) Increased availability of safe and accessible primary schooling; (ii) Improved delivery of conflict-sensitive services; (iii) Institutional capacity to deliver educational services in conflict-affected environment strengthened.
