Grant Description
The Agriculture Growth Program (AGP) II is the Government of Ethiopia's flagship agriculture development program, implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources and other institutions.
USAID support will enhance agriculture research, agriculture productivity, nutritional dietary diversity and agriculture markets and value chains.
The AGP II will work in 157 districts of Ethiopia and builds on the experiences of the AGP I, implemented from 2010-2016.
In total, $500 million in financing has been mobilized, including $85 million from the Multi Donor Trust Fund which includes support from three other bilateral donors.
