The Adolescent Health Skills Strengthening (AHS) activity will improve adolescents' health and well-being by increasing access to and utilization of sexual and reproductive health services.
Specifically, the AHS activity will strengthen youth-friendly service provision at government health service sites and deliver both health information and life skills to unmarried adolescents. It will also provide counseling on family planning and maternal health and relationships to married youth.
The AHS project will also engage key members of the community to advocate for delaying marriage and pregnancy in order to improve the health and overall wellbeing of adolescent girls and their families.
