Grant Description
The aim of the Youth Leadership for Agriculture Activity is to build economic opportunities for youth ages 10 to 35 in agriculture-related fields in order to increase incomes and build entrepreneurial, leadership, and workforce readiness skills.
With almost 50% of its population under age 14 and one of the highest population growth rates in the world, Uganda is in the midst of a quickly worsening youth crisis.
This activity will address critical gaps in the human, social, financial, and physical capital of youth to increase the access of youth to viable livelihoods on a large scale.
