Grant Description

Under this mechanism, USAID will support improvements in the quality of and access to basic education in Jordan.

By the end of the project, this mechanism will provide furniture and equipment for 25 new schools, 120 school expansions and 300 new kindergarten classrooms being constructed by USAID under a separate mechanism (Jordan School Construction and Rehabilitation Project II - Construction).

The furniture and equipment will be procured through multiple host country contract awards or Fixed Amount Reimbursement Agreements.
