Grant Description

REGIS-AG increases the resilience of chronically vulnerable communities in targeted zones of Niger and Burkina Faso.

It focuses on strengthening the cowpea, small ruminant and poultry value chains in agro-pastoralist and marginal agricultural zones.

REGIS-AG uses innovative "pull" strategies linking smallholder groups and associations to cash markets, in cooperation with others development programs, which focus on production level "push" strategies, in order to move vulnerable households from subsistence to food security.
