Global Book Fund - REACH Trust Fund Program Contribution. Proposes that innovative approaches could address issues that have produced an acute shortage of reading materials.

The objectives of the Global Book Fund are: (a) improving the quality, relevance, and appropriateness of early grade reading material; (b) increasing the affordability of high-quality early grade reading material; (c) increasing the availability and accessibility of high-quality reading material; (d) sustaining a virtuous cycle of supply and demand for early grade reading material on a global scale; and (e) ensuring that the right books are made available at the right time to all children so that they can learn to read in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.
