USAID/India will invest Feed the Future (FTF) funds to support IKP Knowledge Park to crowd-source Indian innovations that address nutrition challenges through agriculture solutions.
Innovations selected through a Grand Challenges call will be piloted and adapted in selected FTF countries in Africa and Asia.
This program proposes to leverage agriculture and nutrition linkages across key value chains to deliver health and nutritional benefits to malnourished populations. Two calls will be launched which will support a maximum of five innovations each.
The Grand Challenges approach will be promoted as a strategic platform to help identify critical barriers holding back progress in addressing critical nutrition challenges and develop solutions to overcome these barriers, and implements strategies to help to bring these solutions to scale.
