Under this Participating Agency Service Agreement (PASA), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and its associated U.S.
Land Grant University partners will provide long- and short-term personnel and targeted technical assistance to USAID/Kenya in support of its activities under the Feed the Future and Power Africa initiatives, as well as other economic growth programs.
The PASA will support the Office of Economic growth in strategy development, program design, analysis, and management of its resilience programming, specifically to address agriculture and food security, business development, climate change, as well as energy programs.
As needed, it will also provide short-term technical services related to policy development, regulatory reform, training and other technical capacity building to relevant Kenyan government institutions, as well as a possible long-term advisor for embedding directly within the local Ministry of Agriculture and/or other government offices.
