Grant Description
The goal of Punjab Enabling Environment Project (PEEP) is to improve the enabling environment for the agribusiness sector in Punjab by promoting private sector-led growth.
Activities under this project are intended to support law and policy changes in livestock, dairy, and horticulture sub-sectors.
PEEP will develop and implement a set of activities that will not only result in significant policy reform and capacity building of sector actors to advocate for policy reforms, but also will be instrumental in leveraging $150 million in private sector investment and creating 15,000 jobs. These activities are an important part of the strategy to develop a robust commercial agriculture sector in Pakistan.
