Higher Education

The Higher Education project strengthens the ability of higher education institutions to develop a workforce that is responsive to private sector needs to contribute to economic growth.

The project will work with higher education institutions and the private sector to improve and update curricula and link tertiary education with labor market needs.

Activities will build the institutional capacity of higher education institutions and official entities to expand the use of applied research and provide new and updated academic programs, and to develop partnerships between academia and the private sector.

Faculty and staff will receive professional development through specialized technical assistance, training, and degree programs. Activities will also support career centers, internship programs, and academic programs in priority economic sectors.
