Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The project´s objective is to produce a proposal towards the NSF-the call for proposals "Safety, Security, and Privacy of OpenSource Ecosystems (Safe-OSE)”. Expected results and effects:

The expected effect is that we can write and submit a well-developed proposal to NSF for the call for proposals, "Safety, Security, and Privacy of OpenSource Ecosystems (Safe-OSE)." A secondary expected effect is strengthening the collaboration between AstaZero and Penn State University. Approach and implementation:

The project is divided into three work packages: * Build understanding around r&d funding in the USA in workshops and interviews with Penn State University.

* Application writing, Idea generation, brainstorming sessions with the Penn State University team, and proposal writing.

* Workshops on site at Penn State University. The aim is to strengthen and accelerate the collaboration between AstaZero and Penn State through planning.
