Sport for All! Safe and Sustainable Sports Travel

Purpose and goal:

The project brings together the right the actors to create solutions for safe and climate-smart travel to the city´s sports facilities. Partly to get more young people to become members of our sports associations, and to make it easier and more sustainable for children and young people to reach the city´s sports grounds, with special consideration for those who otherwise risk being left out. We do it in collaboration with already ongoing work to increase physical activity among young people.

The project is implemented in five work packages. WP1: Anchoring the purpose and setup, collecting data, and recruiting target group representatives. WP2: Conducting interviews and workshops to map collaboration and identify solutions. WP3: Testing solutions in pilot studies and evaluating outcomes. WP4: Developing action plans for stakeholders based on results. WP5: Analyzing results for scaling up and dissemination, and preparing the final report.
