Purpose and goal:
The purpose of the trip is to gather ideas, inspiration and knowledge from the food sector in Singapore and then pass it on to the Swedish food industry in the form of advice, lectures, reports with the aim of increasing the rate of innovation in the Swedish food sector. Innovation that will lead to increased competitiveness on both the domestic and international markets.
Expected results and effects:
The outcome of the trip is expected to be a series of insights into new product ideas in, above all, new food, alternative proteins, sustainable products and sustainable farming, urban farming and aquaculture. In addition, the trip is expected to contribute with new network contacts to link together Swedish and international companies as a next step.
Approach and implementation:
Compile a report on new product and cultivation ideas, prepare a presentation for lectures and contact Swedish food companies to offer this as well as company-specific advice.
