Grant Description
Purpose and goal:
The project aims to design a model for a national prevention market, ready to be implemented to improve social and health outcomes. The project involves identifying practical measures, costs, possible savings and barriers, as well as drawing up an action list for immediate implementation. The model will strengthen support for municipalities and regions and contribute to more accurate and cost-effective public health interventions.
Expected results and effects:
The project is expected to result in a model for a national prevention market based on outcome contracts. By identifying practical measures, costs and obstacles as well as through a list of measures for implementation, the model shall create cost-effective, accurate public health interventions. The results are presented in a final report, where the proposal for a prevention program and guidelines for its introduction are clearly stated.
Approach and implementation:
The project is structured with efficient division of labor and clear time planning to ensure progress. The project includes a review of background and needs, a description of expected results, international monitoring of the environment, a solution proposal and an action list with five points. The project contains interviews with relevant actors. The work takes place in close collaboration with an Advisory board and IHE.
