Purpose and goal:

With the trip, we want to learn more about working in, and with, Brazil as well as deepen relations with existing Brazilian contacts who have shown great interest in using our system for large-scale screening for parasitic infections. We also want to identify potential future customers or partners for distribution.

The goal is to meet at least 3 organizations that are relevant, either as customers or partners, and to define the next step in the business relationship with existing stakeholders.

Expected results and effects:

We have three sub-goals:

1. We expect to gain a basic understanding of Brazil as a market.

2. Create new and deepen old relationships that can facilitate a market introduction.

3. Initiate sharp discussions regarding the sale of Enabler´s platform with a local health authority that has shown interest. The best scenario is that we have an agreement on the conditions for the purchase and that the implementation of the purchase is tied to the fulfillment of these.

Approach and implementation:

The plan contains activities to fulfill all three sub-goals.

Participation in Swedish delegation to Brazil´s innovation week including matchmaking, life science workshop and study visit. We have planned two days together with our existing contacts to build deeper trust and understand the conditions for a deal through workshops, demo and discussion.

We also plan to participate in a very relevant international symposium to reach out to more stakeholders.
