International Exchange within Predictive Quality of Service for Wireless Communication

Purpose and goal:

The purpose of this project is to constitute an exchange semester for an industrial doctoral student at Ericsson and Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan. For 6 months, the industrial doctoral student will visit Professor Sundeep Rangans´s research group at New York University (NYU) Tandon School of Engineering.

The goal of the project is to conduct research on predictive Quality of Service (QoS) models that can facilitate future 6G systems to meet the Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Expected results and effects:

Expected results are contributions to the research area of wireless communication, disseminated through scientific articles.

The expected effect is a strengthened collaboration between NYU and Swedish industry and academia.

Approach and implementation:

The planned arrangement is an exchange semester from KTH to NYU for an industrial doctoral student employed by Ericsson. During the exchange, the industrial doctoral student will conduct research together with a research group at NYU, which is a highly ranked university in the USA, and a leader in the research field of wireless communication.
