Pre-study National Intellectual Property Strategy

Purpose and goal:

Production of documentation that can form the basis of a national intellectual property strategy for Sweden with developed proposals and how these are to be achieved.

During the course of the work, relevant actors are involved to create a broad anchoring of possible ways forward.

The deliverable is a series of completed meetings, workshops, a summary report and seminar.

Expected results and effects:

The preliminary study will provide a report with background, a final seminar and have a broad foundation that can form the basis of a national intellectual property strategy for Sweden.

Approach and implementation:

The work is led by Christina Wainikka, policy expert for intellectual property law and docent in civil law. A reference group will be appointed with IVA members, Näringslivsrådet and other experts.

Relevant and decisive actors are linked to the work that are invited to meetings and workshops.

Accounting will take place in the form of a knowledge base and report during the first quarter of 2025. The work is carried out in close connection with IVAs R2B and Entrepreneurship Academy.
