Purpose and goal:

AdSynBio intends to establish new scientific collaborations with researchers in Singapore in synthetic biology and to use these genetic tools in biotechnological applications of cyanobacteria; new gene and genome editing techniques, sensors and

genetic regulators. In addition to a stay in Singapore, both pre-work and post-work are included with the aim of future collaborations with researchers in Singapore. Expected results and effects:

Successful stay in Singapore, meeting and discussions with a number of researchers in synthetic biology, as well as concrete ideas and proposals for future possible collaborative projects with researchers in Singapore. Approach and implementation:

Planning before the stay in Singapore: Identify and contact researchers/organizations in Singapore for possible collaborations.

Stay in Singapore: Visit and discuss with already contacted researchers and identify additional researchers for discussions about collaborations.

Post-work after the stay in Singapore: Compile ideas and proposals for possible collaborative projects and project partners, summarize the stay in Singapore and write the final report.
