Travel grant 2024, Singapore, Business Sweden Agri-Food Tech, 18-22 November

Purpose and goal:

We have been invited to participate in the Business Sweden programme Agri-Food Tech in November 2024. We will follow "Discovery Track" which is tailored for companies or research institutions seeking research collaborations, scientific partnerships or assessing market fit in Singapore. This is also a preparation trip for another proposal for funds to work with Singapore. This funding is also from Vinnova and is called "Innovative collaborations with Singapore in quantum or synthetic biology"

Expected results and effects:

After our participation in this Programme we expect to have a fair understanding on how to collaborate and what steps to take to do business and commercialise in Asia. Participating in this expo will not only enhance our branding and market visibility but will also serve as a catalyst for stimulating demand of our products in the region. We will get to know leading players and stakeholders in the region to learn and share best practices and latest technologies to tap business opportunities.

Approach and implementation:

Since this is the first year for Ironic AB, we will be part of the DISCOVERY TRACK: Innovation & R&D focused. Here we will be meeting and visiting businesses and research institutions to see if Singapore has the right market fit for us as well as looking for scientific collaboration. The activities are scheduled to be carried out during four days, finishing with a pitch event the last day where Ironic AB will present to local start-ups, venture capitalists, and government stakeholders.
