Nano Textile for Orthopaedics

Purpose and goal:

The aim of this project is to submit a competitive international funding application to integrate NanoTextile´s technology into orthopaedic footwear. The objectives are:

1. Develop the Impact argumentation (business case, market conditions, SDGs) through market research with key partners in the sector (CYS Group and Vibram). 2. Describe the work plan for all consortium partners, including budget justifications. 3. Collate all needed corporate information, as required for international bids.

Expected results and effects:

The expected result is a strong and compelling submission to Eureka Eurostars for a mid-scale project, including up to 5M SEK in grants for Swedish partners (NanoTextile plus Jönköping University). The application will be submitted to the call deadline of 14th March 2025.

The application will include a detailed commercial strategy and a comprehensive technological work plan. It will also include preliminary data and feedback on 3D visuals produced with the Vinnova grant. Approach and implementation:

The Eurostars proposal will be prepared in three parts: (1) Commercialization Strategy Development with market research and financial planning, (2) Technological Work Plan Creation involving integration, regulatory research, and testing, and (3) Demonstrative Material Development with 3D visuals and samples for key stakeholders. Each phase includes collaboration with strategic partners at Vibram, Jönköping University, and CYS Group to ensure successful technology validation and market readiness.
