Grant Description
Purpose and goal:
Today, it is very difficult for retailers to buy in the right sizes for their e-commerce packaging. The project aims to develop a first version of a support tool for e-retailers to use in the purchasing process. The tool will use optimization algorithms to achieve a more efficient and less time-consuming matching between supply and demand.
Expected results and effects:
The project intends to develop a first version of the support tool, with the aim of validating the solution potential for a future scale-up and commercialization of the tool.
Approach and implementation:
Skrym leads the project and is responsible for the technical development of the tool. MM Sports and Cervera will contribute data that can characterize their purchasing needs, and Pacson will contribute data on the available range of packaging solutions.
Through this, the system will be iteratively developed with the help of feedback from both the buy and sell side of the packaging market.
