Purpose and goal:
The project is about joint handling of video and image data from different ISR sensors, mounted on aircraft and drones, to provide a joint, real-time situational picture. The intention is to develop a demonstrator, where several platsforms, in real time, deliver image data and video streams to a joint system where tha data is aggregated into a joint image. This is today an Achilles heel in many armed forces, where work is often "stovepiped", i.e. the systems do not talk to each other.

information is aggregated to provide a situational picture. This is today an Achilles heel, e.g. in many defense forces, plagued by "stovepiping", i.e. having to work in system which do not talk to each other.
An expected effect is that Spacemetric will be able to demonstrate the results to Swedish integrators, mainly SAAB; the Armed Forces, and FMV. Approach and implementation:
During the project, Spacemetric will adapt its existing Bluestone software for on-board processing to be able to handle simultaneous input of data from many different image sources. This will also introduce new user requirements on Spacemetrics´ existing user interfaces.
The work will be done in accordance with standards used within NATO, i.e. according to what can be summarized as the "FMN standard".
