Purpose and goal: I-CONIC develops world-unique software to create 3D information in real time from
drone. The goal is to operationalize a military application of the technology together with a suitable integrator. Our project aims to improve position perception from drones and overcome problems with interference of GNSS signals. This improves positioning reliability, which is a prerequisite for autonomous drone navigation.
Expected results and effects: Overall, we create the conditions for a military solution for autonomous navigation that
is cheap, light, invisible and robust. We expect Genom Acceleratorn to have deeper contact with end users and partners, and a better understanding of the defense segment. This, in turn, leads to greater opportunity to develop a product that meets the eligibility requirements that the defense faces in the event of non-existent or disturbed GNSS navigation for drones.
Approach and implementation:
The work is divided into four work packages; Project management, user requirements/system design, Interfacees/adaption and collaborations and participation in the Accelerator. User requirements/ystem design: Compilation of eligibility requirements internally and externally. Interface/adaption: Integration with partners/users.
Collaborations: Assistance from the Accelerator program for insights into the complexities of dual-use products, networking and identifying strategic opportunities.
