Grant Description
Purpose and goal:

Medtech4Growth (M4G) is a project which aims primarily to support small and

medium-sized medical technology companies´ growth through internationalization. The project

focuses on identifying needs, creating new business opportunities and promoting collaborations

between companies, research and innovation support actors. The project includes several

work package, among other things increasing knowledge about Swedish medical technology and a feasibility study

around frugal innovation.

Expected results and effects:

To create and establish the conditions, relevant collaborations and

knowledge transfer, which is needed to increase Swedish SMEs growth and survival. The direct results of the project will in the long run generate increased tax revenues, higher

employment in both the first tier of companies as well as in the second and third tier. Stärka Sveriges position as a leading country in medical technology.

Approach and implementation:

Project will consist of six work packages that together will contribute to companies that are in MT4H´s project portfolio and that want to expand their market abroad to have access to relevant support which can promote their further establishment. In addition, services and tools developed by MT4H must be spread in Europe so that more people can benefit from them.

The project begins with a portfolio analysis.
