Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The feasibility study aims to validate the potential for XR Sweden by building on existing strengths while shaping a cohesive XR ecosystem for Sweden. The goal is to explore and test how a future national XR platform should be structured and function to ensure scalability, inclusivity, and positive societal impact. We start from hypotheses and ideas that will be deeply explored and validated throughout the project.

Expected results and effects:

The study is expected to provide a data-driven analysis of the platform´s potential and guide its future development. We will identify business and societal needs and validate our assumptions to ensure that the platform can drive real impact. In the long term, the platform aims to contribute to social and economic growth in Sweden and strengthen Sweden´s international position within XR.

Approach and implementation:

The study will be conducted through user-centered mapping and hypothesis-driven testing, with work packages focused on needs analysis, technical and business potential, and public engagement. An experienced project team and a strategic Impact Board will ensure both efficiency and adaptability. By collaborating with other feasibility studies, we lay the foundation for future partnerships and ensure broad alignment for the project.
