East Sweden for national infrastructure Civil - Military synergies

Purpose and goal:

The purpose of the project is to create the conditions for a strategic node that promotes cooperation between the civilian and military sectors, with a focus on developing and integrating technologies that strengthen Swedish military capability. The goal is to bring together actors in Östergötland, including defense authorities, defense industry and academic institutions, to enable faster and more efficient development of dual applications, such as AI, cyber security and sensor technology.

Expected results and effects:

After completing the project, we have prepared a regionally anchored proposal for a model for a national infrastructure. The work within the framework of the project should contribute to helping actors collaborate in the area after the end of the project, as well as create a common understanding of the regional the capacity in Östergötland that can be spread nationally.

Approach and implementation: Phase 1. Carry out actor mapping Phase 2. Develop a model and strategy for a future infrastructure together with a selection of the actors. Phase 3. Final packaging
