Västervik Drone Science Park - Dual-use ecosystem

Purpose and goal:

The project aims to develop a proposal for a concrete, realizable, scalable and replicable innovation/collaboration model for the dual-use ecosystem based on Västervik Drone Science Park´s (VDSP) expertise and experiences as innovation promoters in unmanned technology/systems and drones (air, land and water) and VDSP´s possible role in a future dual-use drone ecosystem.

Expected results and effects:

The project´s results will contribute to the national strategies linked to a future innovation-promoting dual-use ecosystem, primarily based on unmanned technology and drones in the air, on land or in/under water. The hope is that the results will be used by responsible authorities and actors and that Västervik Drone Science Park will have a designated role in the ecosystem in the future.

Approach and implementation:

In the proposal there are a number of work packages which include includes environmental monitoring, contacts and meetings with actors relevant to the project as well as the development of proposals for future dual-use ecosystems as well as Västervik Drone Science Park´s possible role in such.
