Purpose and goal:
The Södertälje Science Parks initiative Production Angels is a complement to Sweden´s incubators. Through cooperation between innovation environments and the Armed Forces, we can find synergies to accelerate the development and industrialization of innovations.
By supporting startups´ industrialization and catalyzing production collaborations with manufacturers, it contributes to increased local production, robust national supply chains, resilience and strengthens Sweden´s defense capabilities. Expected results and effects:
Production angels´ unique platform can contribute with expertise regarding startup´s industrialization journey and a network of innovative companies to collaborate with the defense sector, thereby strengthen Swedish military capability and competitiveness.
Through dialogue and collaboration with other innovation organizations and the Swedish Armed Forces, proposals will be made where Production Angels can contribute to accelerate the industrialization of Swedish hardware innovations. Approach and implementation:
The identified challenges will be investigated, the target group interviewed and stakeholders talked to, in order to supplement early hypotheses and build an understanding of the current situation. Challenges will be turned into opportunities and an iterative work process begins where different solutions are developed and evaluated to arrive at the best possible outline on a strategy for a future infrastructure of innovation organizations that cooperates with the Swedish Armed Forces.
