Algeno - Optimizing energy consumption in buildings

Purpose and goal:

The overall goal for stage 1 of the project is to develop functionality to integrate our heating control service with the most common building automation systems. This will make our developed algorithms available to a wider group of property owners and simplify the onboarding of new customers to the service.

Expected results and effects:

The overall result after completing the project is a modular integration functionality where we can easily connect to and communicate with the most common building automation systems. We will also produce a "digitalization playbook" for property owners, which is a simple and clear description of all the steps a property owner must go through to enable smart heating control through Algeno.

Approach and implementation:

The project is carried out through five planned activities; 1) identify the most common systems and platforms, 2) develop a "digitalization playbook" for property owners, 3) modularize the existing code base to enable integration with many different property automation systems, 4) carry out 2-3 pilot projects with property owners where we use our new integration modules for communications, and 5) develop functionality to deliver our service via selected proptech platforms.
