Purpose and goal: SAWE-H2 is dedicated to green hydrogen production using next-generation water
electrolysis, which offers significant advantages in terms of sustainability and efficiency. Leveraging Hydroyal´s electrode manufacturing technique, a pressurized electrolysis system will be developed, with performance monitored in terms of efficiency and safety. Also, Hydroyal will develop partnership. This project aims to increase Hydroyal´s technology readiness level and engagement with H2 society.
Expected results and effects:
At the end of the project, a pressurized cell will be prepared, and initial performance tests will be conducted. The setup will also enable monitoring of H₂ gas in O₂ (%), facilitating a safety check. Hydroyal will attend at least one H2-related fair/exhibition in Europe. Approach and implementation:
Pressurized cell will be built with microgear pumps, backpressure regulators and tubings. For the gas analysis, coalescer filter and TCD detector will be used. For the setup, abovementioned equipment will be purchased. The tests will be conducted at Hydroyal´s laboratory.
Business development activities will be conducted by outreaching to the potential partners. Furthermore, Hydroyal will attend H2 fairs/exhibitions in Europe.
