Purpose and goal:
ManoMotion´s hand interaction platform enables hand tracking on any device with a camera. Unlike closed systems like Apple Vision Pro or Quest headsets that rely on high-end chipsets, ManoMotion’s solution works across a wider range of hardware. The company is targeting partnerships with US-based XR manufacturers to integrate its platform and benchmark it against current market solutions, offering a more accessible and versatile option for hand interaction in XR devices.
Expected results and effects:
The expected outcome is a requirement list regarding the cameras and chipsets used in XR devices and conduct a feasibility study. We aim to integrate our technology with one or more XR device manufacturers, benchmark the integration against existing solutions, and develop a roadmap for improvements, optimization, and productization of the combined offering. Finally, we will redefine and assess our business model to facilitate the commercialization of the integrated product.
Approach and implementation:
We plan to analyze the US XR market, identify key contacts and book meetings before we go to the US. Ideally we have already gotten enough information for us to start the integration of our technology using videos to generate the output of our algorithms.
Once in the US, we plan to meet the different XR device manufacturers and gather the requirements to create a roadmap for a potential step 2 that help the collaboration create a business model that benefits both parties.
