HINTS-US - Innovative collaborations with the US in XR and Human-centered IRs

Purpose and goal:

The metaverse is a new space for humans. It should be built around them. The KKS-finansierade profile project "HINTS" at BTH creates new technologies to design a human-centered and smart metaverse, called "Human-Centered Intelligent Realities (IRs)".

The HINTS-US projekt now aims to develop innovative collaborations with American partners to a) deepen the knowledge within Human-Centered IRs and b) improve their commercialization and industrialization of technologies within IRs. Expected results and effects:

The metaverse is a global concept. We aim to build a strong relationship with US partners to deepen knowledge in human-centered metaverse, design new mechanisms and assessment concepts for IRs, and enable their commercialization. Approach and implementation:

We will create in step 1 the conditions for collaborations with US partners on core concepts for Human-Centered IRs and/or opportunities for using the HINTS lab.

Hence, we will develop easy to understand and comprehensive material on the HINTS core technologies for multi-user IRs. These assessment, immersion, interaction, AI, and distribution/computaiton/5g/6G/security, technoligies . The objective is to attract one or more US partners (at least one company).
