International individual mobility for AI in healthcare

Purpose and goal:

Gather strategic and practical knowledge that can be applied to AI initiatives at

Sahlgrenska, as well as identifying concrete areas for future collaborations.

Expected results and effects:

The exchange aims to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing between the organizations. It seeks to gather valuable insights that can be implemented within the Swedish ecosystem to foster further development and innovation in AI. Both strategic and practical knowledge relevant to AI initiatives at Sahlgrenska will be addressed. Additionally, the exchange will identify specific use cases for collaboration between the two organizations.

Approach and implementation:

A data scientist from Sahlgrenska will spend six weeks at Unity Health. During this time, they will observe various groups involved in AI development and implementation. After the exchange, the knowledge and insights gained will be shared within Sahlgrenska and with other hospitals and regions in the AI Sweden network.
