Purpose and goal:

Acorai is developing a non-invasive monitor for intracardiac pressure, for monitoring heart failure patients. The focus of this project is to prepare for European commercialization by completing third-generation hardware for large-scale manufacturing, refining the Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, and ensuring regulatory standards.

Expected results and effects:

Upon completion of the project, Acorai intends to have a product that meets clinical and regulatory eligibility requirements in order to prepare for a broader commercialization effort, to improve monitoring and management of heart failure patients.

Approach and implementation:

The project is carried out together with a Finnish (design) and Polish (machine learning) partner, where the next generation product is developed and ensured that it meets performance requirements compared to previous generations while also meeting regulatory requirements for commercialization.
