Evaluation of Uni.T technology for thermal management of Li-ion battery packs

Purpose and goal:

The main objective of the project is to determine whether Calogy´s Uni.T solution is the appropriate thermal management technology for Volvo´s upcoming battery platform. Expected results and effects:

Expected results are lighter and less complex heat management system of batteries as well as superior thermal performance which delivers durable and safe solution. Approach and implementation:

The Volvo Group and Calogy Solutions initiated this project to deliver a unique and efficient thermal solution for battery packs for Volvo Group applications. The project shall be divided into two phases with a third optional phase to be defined later based on the results of phases one and two.
