Sustainable Saffron Cultivation in a controlled environment agriculture

Purpose and goal:

The project intends to prepare a competitive application for the EIC Accelerator pre-submission in October 2024. We have been accepted to make a complete application. The intended EIC Accelerator project is overall about developing automation, cultivation conditions and analysis for indoor cultivation of saffron in controlled environments in Sweden and Europe.

Expected results and effects:

Submit a competitive application that takes us to an interview and where we are so well prepared for the interview that we are granted grants and capital. Approach and implementation:

BlueRedGoldAB will collaborate with several international partners (then with subcontractor status). These parties are from the Netherlands (Wageningen Plant University) and Denmark (Seasony) or similar. We need to plan the project activities more specifically with them during the preparation time.

We also want to seek a partnership with a Spanish company for increased knowledge of customer needs. We intend to seek support from potential investors who can match the EIC Fund for activities on TRL9. We will hire expert help to write the application (Euroclas AB)
