Sustainable production of surgical sutures

A simplified process can produce less environmental impact and can allow manufacturing with new manufacturers and in new markets. Approach and implementation:

The project is a collaboration between Suturion and an industrial manufacturer and Lunds Universitet who will do a life cycle analysis. The project will develop a manufacturing process and prototypes will be tested in the relevant environment.
