Purpose and goal:
The project´s aim is to contribute to efficient and emission-free transportation in a vibrant and fair Stockholm. STOLT is a platform and a tool in the work towards an emission-free inner city in 2030 and contributes through demonstrations that individually and together aims to reduce car travel, electrify transportation and generate a more attractive urban environment.
STOLT uses the introduction of environmental zone class 3 and urban environmental zone as a window of opportunity for a broad transition towards an efficient and emission-free transport system. Expected results and effects:
Direct benefits and effects of the demonstrations carried out in the project are: 1) Reduced car travel, 2) Attractive urban environment and 3) Electrified vehicle fleet.
Through the working methods that are developed and established, STOLT also contributes to developing abilities in system innovation, multi-actor transition, reflexive learning, digital transformation and implementation of innovation. Approach and implementation:
STOLT consists of demonstrations in a real environment with many actors and based on a broad systems perspective. The project includes system aspects such as policy, infrastructure, logistics, business models and behaviour. In addition, methods for learning, scaling up, digitalisation and portfolio management are developed to create "the new normal".
The following is demonstrated: 1. Urban environment zone Gamla stan 2. Procurement for fossil-free transports 3. Environmental Zone class 3 in city 4. Electrified contracting 5. Off-peak transportation
