This integration provides a unique opportunity to study food system preparedness and resilience using a system perspective.
PLATE will focus on the role of the food service sector in enhancing the Swedish food system´s short-term preparedness, long-term resilience, and sustainability, encompassing all stakeholders involved in preparing and serving meals across public and private sectors.
The vision of PLATE is an empowered food service sector that plays a pivotal role in creating a resilient, sustainable, and competitive Swedish food system, ensuring well-being for all.
The goal is to develop the science, knowledge, and transformative capacities needed to achieve this vision through improved policies, scalable practices, and shifts in values and mental models.
