Grant Description

Purpose and goal: Project coordination funding for Stage 4 aims to finance the program office for the strategic innovation program Swelife. Swelife works to strengthen life science in Sweden and thereby contribute to improved public health. We do this by working long-term so that Sweden can offer good conditions for world-class

health. We also work for a growing life science sector that is competitive on a global market. Expected results and effects: The goal of the project is to ensure that Swelife, in line with the national life science strategy, works to achieve Swelife´s vision and that the program delivers according to the Swelife´s long

term goals. This will result in a shorter process from idea to innovation for better health that benefits both individuals and society and also leads to economic growth. Approach and implementation: The activities initiated within Swelife aim to achieve the follow ing long-term goals (1) Competence and resources within life science in Sweden are used nationally through

cooperation and coordination. (2) Sweden offers good conditions for sustainable growth and international competitiveness for the life science sector. (3) Residents in Sweden have access to innovative, equal and personalized care for a better health based on current best practice.
