The graduate school will be in caring science, but transdisciplinary projects focusing on practice- and patient-oriented research are welcomed.
SWEPROF will contribute knowledge on user participation in psychiatric research as user participation will permeate the graduate school. The research environment of the proposed graduate school is rooted in a collaboration between four universities conducting research and education in psychiatric care with emphasis on Nursing and Caring Science perspectives.
The six cooperating regions have outpatient and inpatient psychiatric care for adults and children, forensic psychiatric care, and research centers with close collaboration with the universities.Funding is primarily sought for salaries for eight graduate students´ and to ensure user participation, and for graduate school steering and coordination.
