Purpose and goal:

The project further develops the prototype, which detects water leaks and reduces water wastage in the drinking water network. We intend to package a nationally scalable IoT solution where we have validated interoperability against external service providers. We are also developing an automated climate monitoring, extending the IoT system to embrace residents through a nudging platform for climate dialogue.

The goal is to create a positive change in attitude and raise awareness of how water management, with associated energy use, can affect the climate, environment and wallet. Expected results and effects:

At the end of the project, we have established a secure IoT environment with high data quality, spread IoT applications to more administrations and municipalities, lowered the IoT threshold for smaller municipalities, integrated equality and gender equality issues into the business, created a platform for climate dialogue and introduced a nudging concept. We have also established a climate follow-up strategy and channels for wide dissemination via external forums and supplier networks.
