Swedish Quantum Technology Delegation, December 2023 Silicon Valley

Purpose and goal:

The project has fulfilled its three objectives: (i) International positioning in the field of quantum technology, (ii) Increased contact surface and strengthened network for Swedish quantum companies, and (iii) Packaging of tools for internationalization. The participants attest to a well-executed trip with relevant participants and activities, where Swedish activities in the area could be showcased.

The participants testify about new contacts that in the end can bring new business for their companies. Further, internationalization activities within QSIP are being planned. Expected results and effects:

The results for the project are strongly linked to the goals and, as can be read above, they are fulfilled. The effects cannot be commented on yet as it takes time to build new business and to plan further internationalization activities for "Quantum Sweden". Approach and implementation:

The participants testify to a well-executed delegation trip. Potential participants who were unable to come along have pointed out that the invitation came very close to the trip itself and better anticipation is desired. Furthermore, participants have wished that we would have a stand or other meeting place at the conference, which we have taken with us and are planning for the delegation to IQT Nordics in Helsinki (June 2024).
