Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

This initiative will have three key objectives. Firstly, we aim to develop a BETA prototype with a focus on reliability, functionality, and scalability. Secondly, we plan to pilot and validate this prototype with a farmer owner. Finally, we aim to quantify and validate the business case for Agrodit through customer collaboration.

Expected results and effects:

Technically, insights from BETA prototype development and piloting will inform the scalable, cost-effective commercial solution version. Quantifying customer payback periods based on water savings will optimize efficiency and attraction.

Business-wise, piloting will convert test customers into early adopters, driving initial sales. This project aims to establish a loyal customer base, making it easier to attract new customers. Approach and implementation: Specific project structure and implementation in order: 1 - Develop BETA prototype hardware & software

2 - Pilot and validate the BETA prototype with one farm owners (customer) 3 - Quantify and validate the business case for Agrodit together with customers 3.1 Quantified water savings (litres/m2) and CO2 emissions savings (CO2eq/litre) 3.2 Quantified economic savings from water savings (SEK/litre) 3.3 Quantified customer payback period of less than 3-years
